We say a heartfelt goodbye to Prince Goose, the sweet senior tabby who chose our family as his perfect "retirement home."
Though his early history is a mystery (likely beginning in Morrilton), his life with us began the day Aubrey spotted him hiding in a cube at Petco. While the employee tapped the glass to make an introduction, Brittney secretly started the adoption papers, and Des sealed the deal with a critical Target run for the proper carrier.
Prince was not a wild kitten but a gentle, shy soul. Because of his timid nature and talent for hiding, he donned his signature Tile tracker so we could always ensure he was safe.
In his golden years, he took on a serious profession as Brittney’s academic advisor. He faithfully sat by her side through late-night classes, offering quiet support as she earned her Master’s degree. When he wasn't studying, he could be found enjoying the simple pleasures of retirement: eating grass, lying belly-up in a deep sleep, and basking in the love of the family who rescued him.
May his afterlife be a peaceful extension of his retirement—filled with birds to watch, endless naps, and all the tuna he desires.
